BIO - BRITISH ORDER AGAINST MINHAJUDDIN IBN SIRAJUDDIN

This image is about Shaikh Minhaajuddin ibn Sirajuddin. He was one of the leaders of Ahlul Hadith of his time. This is the British order against him that rustled in an exile. He was a direct student of Syed Nazir Hussain Dehlawi. Here is the evidence:

These were the pillars of Ahlul Hadith in the subcontinent way before independence.

The first document above is dated 29 April 1859, two years after the Indian Mutiny (1857). The document clearly states that Shaikh Minhaajuddin was actively promoting Islam during the mutiny period and was encouraging Muslims to confront the brutal East India Company Raj.

The second document is an ijazah written by Syed Nazir Hussain (the 3rd successor of Shah Waliullah's madrassa in Delhi) for Shaikh Minhaajuddin in 1303 of Hijrah.

[Ref: i took this from a brother whose great grandfather was shaykh minhajuddin ibn sirajuddin. but he asked me not to mention his name .]
