AMAZING QURAN PRINT FROM MUMBAI

After a long wait of 9 years  Quran al-hakeem (Alfi) is published in India, mumbai in simple script. Out of all the Quranic copies published in 1400 years, this is the most unique one. There are many features which makes it standout from many Quranic copies around the world like:

1. The first two pages are written in diwaani style.

2. It contains examples of handwritten letters of prophet sallalahu alayhi wasalam (the one with his stamp, on the top right corner) and the sahaba, in Kufi style of writing. [Note: as per my knowledge the letters don't exist today in handwritten form]

3.It has a total of 185 pages only, each page consisting of 23 lines and the whole juz/parah is covered in 6 single sided pages.

4. Each line on every page starts with an "Alif", and for this reason it is called the "Alfi" Quran

5. Different styles of writing "bismillah", from the time of the prophet sallalahu alayhi wasalam until the present day, of all 113 suwar which begin with bismillah.

6. It has a special polished box made from Austrian Snowbar Tree which is engulfed with velvet.

7. Know how historic info related to Muslim and quranic calligraphy at its end.

Buy it from here: http://www.islamicbookstore.com/b12044.html [Note: I don't know the website personally] or ask local stores in Mumbai.

[Biography] – Shaikh Abul-Hariz Malik Abdul-Aziz Munazar Multani [1389H]

Compiled, Translated and Annotated
Abu Hibbaan & Abu Khuzaimah Ansaari
Compiled 2003

1. Shaykh al-Allaamah Abdul-Haqq Multaanee

He was originally from Dhera Ismaa’eel Khaan and a Faraanee Afghan, he later moved to Multaan. He was from amongst the first people who started to call the people to the Tawheed of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalaahu Alayhee Wasallam) in that area. Suffice it to say that he was one of the foremost students of al-Allaamah al-Muhaddith al-Muftee Mian Nazeer Hussain Muhaddith Dehlawee (d.1318H), from who he learnt all the different branches of Islaam. His rank and position with his teacher was such that he (Mian Nazeer Hussain) would have complete trust and reliance in him.
When questions would come to Mian Nazeer he would pass them onto Shaykh Abdul-Haqq who would answer them and Main Nazeer would then just add his approval. So when one looks at ‘Fataawaa Nazeeriyyah’ of Allaamah Nazeer Hussain some of the verdicts have the name of Abdul-Haqq next to them. This was his rank. Then another well-known student of al-Allaamah Mian Nazeer Hussain, Shaykh al-Allaaamah al-Muhaddith Abul-A’la Muhammad Abdur Rahmaan Mubaarakpooree, the author of  Tuhfatul Ahwadhee, checked Fataawa Nazeeriyyah.

His Works

The main areas of writing and research of the Shaykh were shee’ism and the refutation of Taqleed hence most of his works revolve around this.
In refutation of the Shee’ah he wrote,
1. The Decisive Word On Who Murdered Hussain.
2. The Decisive Word On the Marriage of Umm Kulthoom (bint Alee to Umar al-Khataab).
3. Hadeeth Qartaas.
4. The Garden of Fidak.
5. Ehtimaam Janaazah Khair al-Anaam.
6. al-Burhaan al-Ma’qool Fee Tarbee’a Binaat ar-Rasool.
7. Khilaafat Saadiqah.
8. Fadhail Khulafa Raashideen.
9. Fadhail Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan From Shee’ah Narration’s.
On the Hanafees he wrote,
10. Isteesaal at-Taqleed
11. Faisalah Raf ul-Yadain
12. Faisalah Munazarah Raf ul-Yadain (Murattab)
13. Risaalah Qiraa’h Khalf al-Imaam.
14. Tahqeeq at-Taraaweeh
Other books include:
15. Akaazeeb Mirzaa (Ghulaam Ahmad Qaadiyaanee)

BIO - Shaykh Abdullah Ghaznawi [D. 1298H]

Most of his daroos and speeches revolved around Tawheed and the rejection of shirk, innovation and the blind following of madhabs. Hence, the majority of the people in his hometown and scholars went against him and started creating problems and hurdles in his dawah. Some people made complaints to the ruler of Kabul Dost Muhammad Khan. The prominent scholars who asked the ruler to punish him were Khan Mullah Durrani, Mullah Mashki and Mullah Nasrullah Lobani. All of them were staunch blind followers of the Hanafi madhab. Resultantly, the ameer of Kabul asked the Shaykh to leave his area.
The Shaykh then left his home in Ghazni and traveled to many areas like Sawat, Hazara, Punjab, and finally reached Delhi. Upon reaching Delhi he found the Muhaddith of the era, the Imam of Dawah Tahweed and Sunnah, Shaykh-ul-Qul Allamah Syed Mian Nazeer Hussain Muhadith Dhelwee rahimullah. He read under him for some years and completed his studies and got an ijaazah of teaching hadith from him.
During his stay in Delhi, he was known for his taqwa and khushoo in prayer. Referring to him, Syed Mian Nazeer Hussain Dhelwee said, “Abdullah got the knowledge of hadith from us and he taught us how to pray.” This is because once he was praying in a mosque and suddenly a part of the ceiling collapsed, however, it didn’t disrupt his prayer and when he was asked about this his reply was that he wasn’t aware of what was happening in his surroundings.
In 1857, he traveled to Punjab and stayed there for a few years before going back to Daira Ismaeel Khan thinking that ameer of Kabul might change his verdict. However, in a few days the ameer of Kabul sent him a letter asking him to leave the area. So he traveled to another location known as Nawa which was also under the control of the same ameer. The ameer didn’t let him stay there either so he left the area and migrated to mountains of Yagistan and started calling the local people to tawheed. The scholars of Nawa didn’t like this so they attacked the Shaykh’s house with an army .

Ahlul Hadeeth - their travels their presence etc from Hindi by Shaikh Arif Javed Muhammedi

this is my personal copy which i asked from shaykh arif javed

BIO - BRITISH ORDER AGAINST MINHAJUDDIN IBN SIRAJUDDIN

This image is about Shaikh Minhaajuddin ibn Sirajuddin. He was one of the leaders of Ahlul Hadith of his time. This is the British order against him that rustled in an exile. He was a direct student of Syed Nazir Hussain Dehlawi. Here is the evidence:

These were the pillars of Ahlul Hadith in the subcontinent way before independence.

The first document above is dated 29 April 1859, two years after the Indian Mutiny (1857). The document clearly states that Shaikh Minhaajuddin was actively promoting Islam during the mutiny period and was encouraging Muslims to confront the brutal East India Company Raj.

The second document is an ijazah written by Syed Nazir Hussain (the 3rd successor of Shah Waliullah's madrassa in Delhi) for Shaikh Minhaajuddin in 1303 of Hijrah.

[Ref: i took this from a brother whose great grandfather was shaykh minhajuddin ibn sirajuddin. but he asked me not to mention his name .]

BIO - HAFIZ ABDUL MANNAN WAZEERABADI

Source : http://www.umm-ul-qura.org/info/user_pages/page.asp?art_id=175

Biography of Hafiz Abdul Mannan Al-Wazeerabadi Translated by Ustadh `Ali Hassan Khan

Hafiz Abdul Mannan was born in 1267/1851 in Karoili Sayydan, Tahsil Pandadn, area of Jehlum. Karoili Sayydan is 12 miles from Bherah.

His father’s name is Malak Sharfudin ibn Nur Khan, from Awan tribe which came from Ghazni to Punjab, there were from middle class.

His parents named him Ashraf Khan but some elders recommended the name Abdul Mannan, so this name became famous and he also preferred this name when he grew up. He had 2 brothers Najeeb Khan and Habeeb Khan and 2 sisters. His family did not have scholars and did not encourage religious knowledge, but Allah created love of religious in the Shaykh’s heart when he grew up.

At the age of 9, Hafiz Abdul Mannan became blind and at the age of 12, his mother passed away, but despite these trials, the Shaykh remained patient and carried on his path towards seeking knowledge. He originally learned Quran and Persian language in his village from the local Imam. To seek further knowledge, he went to the village of Ahmadabad on the Jehlum river and he learned their Arabic books of beginners from Molvi Qadir Bakhsh. After he went to Bhalwal in the area of Sarghoda where he learned “Kanz Daqaiq” and “Quduri” from Sayid Fasil Shah. After he went to Buryanwala in the area of Jehlum were he studied “Mirah Al-Arwah”, “Sharh Miah Amil”, “Kafiyah”, “Shafiyah”, “Sharh Mulla Jami” and other books from Molvi Burhanudin Hatarwi.

Afterwards, he desired to study greater books so he travelled to the village of Chakki Shaikh Jee in the area of Bannu and he studied many books from Molvi Gul Ahmad Sahib such as “Mulla Hasan Khayali”, Ilm Al-Ma’ani, Ilm Al-Faraidh, Fiqh and Usul Al-Fiqh.

Afterwards he desired to learn Tafseer and Hadith and there was only Molana Muhammad Husayn Batalwi in the area of Punjab teaching Hadith so he travelled to him and heard “Mishkat Al-Masabeeh” from him in Lahore.

Afterwards, Hafiz Abdul Mannan made intention to do Hajj and as he was not very rich, he had to teach and save up some money, so the Shaykh travelled to Kala Bagh where he stayed two months and afterwards went to Sindh where he met Peer Mahfoozullah Sirhindi who was from lineage of Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi and Peer Mahfoozullah Sirhindi seeing Hafiz Abdul Mannan’s knowledge presented him to Nawab Murad Ali Khan, the Wali (governor) of the state of Khayrpur. Nawab Murad Ali Khan became impressed by the Shaykh’s knowledge and employed him as a teacher, so Hafiz Abdul Mannan stayed there for a year teaching and afterwards he told Nawab Murad Ali Khan that he wanted to leave and go for Hajj, and Nawab Murad Ali Khan who loved Hafiz Abdul Mannan accepted his resignation and gave him 500 rupees as gift, which was a great amount of money at that time.

But unfortunately, when Hafiz Abdul Mannan came Bombay to take the ship to Jeddah for Hajj, an individual called Ali Ahmad from Multan stole this amount from the Shaykh and plotted with the police to arrest the Shaykh on a false accusation so the Shaykh was not only robbed of his money but stayed few days in jail after which he was released by the corrupt police.

After this great trial, the Shaykh went to teach in city of Surat where he taught for some time but he had to face lots of hostility as he was accused of being Ghayr Muqalid, a term used for Ahle Hadith who refuse Taqleed and act upon Hadith. So afterwards the Shaykh went to teach in Bao Nagar in village of Nadeer but he had to leave this place as well due to hostility of Muqalideen, but the Shaykh saved enough money to go for Hajj at the age of 18.

[Biography] – Shaikh Muhibullah Shah ar-Rashidi as-Sindhi [1415H]

Shaikh Zubair Alee Zaee said I did the checking of Imaam Baihaqis book “Ithbaat Adhaab al-Qabr” (Affirming the Punishment of The Grave) and this book was written in manuscript form by our Shaikh Imaam Bade ud deen so whilst doing the checking I was unable to find information concerning some narrators so I would refer to Shaikh Muhibullaah and he having unparallel memory would tell me the affair of some of these narrators from his memory from the books. Shaikh Muhibullaah also wrote the introduction to this book.
Shaikh Hamdee Abdul Majeed as-Salafee one of the students of Imaam Badee ud deen is a checker and verifier of books and from one of the books he checked is Mu’ajam al-Kabeer of Imaam Tabarani and this is indeed a great service. He would often refer and benefit from Shaikh Muibullaah with regards to his checking in one place in the notes to a narrator he says,
“For he is unknown according to the principles as my Shaikh Muhibullaah Shaah has said" (al-Muajam al-Kabeer 1/209)
Shaikh Hamdee would also send Shaikh Muhibullaah any new books printed in Iraaq.
Once in answer to an issue of science of hadeeth he authored a 74 page treatise titled, “Calming the heart of one troubled by the tadlees of Thawree and al-A’amash”
Shaikh Zubair Alee Zaee has for a number of years has been compiling a book on scholars of current times and other people as he also had a great interest in Asmaa ur-Rijaal. So he asked Shaikh Muhibullaah pertaining  to some great scholars of our times and he was indeed a great expert and fair in these affairs when he spoke so I asked him about
Ash-Shaikh Abdul Azeez bin Abdullah bin Baaz (Rahimahullah)
He said, “Scholar, researcher of the truth, trustworthy and honest.”
Ash-Shaikh Muhammad Naasir ud deen al-Albaanee (Rahimahullah)
He said, “Researcher of the truth undoubtedly, established and trustworthy”
Ash-Shaikh Ataaullaah Haneef Bhojiyaanee (Rahimahullah)
He said, “My teacher, the trustworthy from amongst my trustworthy teachers, and there are very few similar to him in this era.”
Ash-Shaikh Badee ud deen Sindhee (Rahimahullah)
He said, “Trustworthy”
Zaahid al-Kawtharee
he said, “staunch/bigoted from amongst the hanafis.”
